We would definitely recommend Ramblers Cottage. Being a 3 generation family, my husband a wheelchair user, my son and daughter-in-law with 2 children ages 2 yrs and 9ths respectively, our daughter with her BIG dog, our little dog and I found our cottage very peaceful, comfortable, clean, spacious and most importantly accessible with down stairs being an open plan sitting room, dining room and kitchen leading to a large bedroom with superkingsize bed, on suite wet room with shower/toilet chair on wheels. The upstairs having two spacious bedrooms with superkingsize beds and spacious bathroom.
We all loved the fact the cottage was a barn conversion and loved the information booklet. One of the reasons for booking Ramblers Cottage, was a member of our family smoked but had since the booking given up. (Hip Hip Hurrah!!) May I add the cottage DIDN’T smell of stale tobacco as we though it might and understandably so.
The serenity of the lake and again the accessibility of it for my husband was blissful. Our granddaughter loved the added attraction of the lambs, butterflies, rabbits and an owl. It was sheer joy to watch her excitement on finding the pond with the fish in the forecourt. We also enjoyed the pleasure of the safety of the cottage being down a lovely quiet lane, with access to Hall Farm Land.
We loved the personal going that extra mile touch of meeting us when we got lost, we should have and would recommend people follow your directions as given on the website and not the sat nav route.
We found the people to be very friendly.
We would recommend The Kings Head in Wroxham as a place to eat……very good food.
We bought steaks at a very friendly butchers in Ludham…..they were delicious.
We found some of the most amazing stretches of beach of beautiful blue/green water with fine sand or stone, added to this was the wonderful long stretches of coastline that allowed dogs. The end result…..two very happy children and two very happy dogs which in turn made us all happy.
We all enjoyed our visit to The Farm and last but not least we enjoyed the bottle of red wine…..nice touch. Mrs Guiney, Wembley

Marvellous holiday, cottage was well equipped for a wheelchair user with everything I could possibly want – ramps etc. Helpful friendly staff, lovely views and peaceful setting. It is ideal for watching and hearing birds. Jean Goodchild, Herts.
We have had an amazing time here and have enjoyed every day (even the rainy ones!) The cottages are clean and cosy. We loved using the games room and walking down to the fishing lake in the evenings. I really hope that we’ll be coming back. Thanks. Alex Rowett, Herts
